A Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) at Tribhuvan University is one of the most fascinating graduates in Nepal. BHM course falls under the Faculty of Management(FOM). It is a 4 year (8 semester) program developing under the Tribhuvan University. This course consists of fundamentals of Hotel and Catering, Food and Beverage production,Hospitality management, Office and housekeeping along with familiarizing the student with multi-dimensional Hospitality Industry.
Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) course is both theoretical and practical in nature. The curriculum is designed to cover all emerging market demands and to provide in- depth and hands-on knowledge of the principles of fundamentals of Hotel Management and Culinary Arts. It is a course of 126 credit hours consisting of 2000 marks. . The FOM helps to pursue networking with the management industries within a country and also helps to exchange the knowledge abroad.The students can be able to develop and exchange new knowledge, technology and methods of higher level efficiency in management of business and public entities. The program includes regular internship opportunities and job placement during the study period. This is one of the fields whose scope is growing rapidly day by day. 1. The candidates applying for admission to the BHM program must have :
2. Students who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations from recognized academic institutes with second division (securing 45% and above) or 1.8 CGPA are eligible to enroll in this program.
3. Students from any faculty can join BHM but he/ she should have secured at least 45% marks n their plus two.
4. He/ she should have English as a compulsory subject.

Written Exam:
The aspirants should appear in CMAT entrance test (Central Management Aptitude Test) taken by the Faculty of Management(FOM).Exam pattern is the same as that of BBA/ BIM etc. Students' ability to answer the questions is judged by categorizing it into four sections. Those sections are Verbal Analysis, Knowledge of Quantitative Techniques, Reasoning with Logic, and GK.
Interview:
Those students who scored 40% in the entrance exam are called for an interview. After that those students who have passed both exams get admitted in different colleges as per merit basis.
Merit List:
Admissions of the students in BHM program of Tribhuvan University will be strictly on the basis of merit list. Merit list is prepared on the basis of:
50% of CMAT Entrance examination
30% of marks secured in percentage in plus two or equivalent
10% Group Discussion
10% Interview

Students should collect and submit the admission form to their interested college nearby. Generally admission form opens every year in the month of Bhadra/Ashoj.

No need to fill the form from different colleges, one form is sufficient to be eligible to attend the entrance exam for BHM. More than one form can be invalid.

Students must have secured 40% marks in entrance out of 100% to clear the entrance exam and get admission.
