The Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) Engineering program of Tribhuvan University is one of the renowned degrees which is a 5 years, 10 semester program. Only 175 seats are available for this course at Tribhuvan University. There are only 4 engineering colleges which offer B.Arch courses under Tribhuvan University.
Architecture is the blend of art and Science in designing Physical structures that shape the environment in which we live, using creativity and practical understanding of structures and materials to develop concepts, plans, specifications and detailed drawings of buildings. Architecture deals with the look, feel and comfort of the structure. Architect focuses on how to make the maximum use of the available area yet build a comfortable structure. While designing the structures or buildings, the societies and environments should also be taken into consideration. The graduated architects may also be involved in project feasibility studies, heritage study, urban planning, interior design and landscape design.
B.Arch is the most preferred course in the context of the whole world including Nepal. The Bachelor of Architecture Engineering teaches students about how to design the structure incorporating the lifestyle and culture in order to make it look modern and creative. In this program, students learn about the materials used while constructing the structures, the process of construction and focus on artistic sides as well.
Bachelor in Architecture Engineering is the program designed to produce competent and responsible architects. In order to fulfill these objectives, the program
Teaches students the drawing and design techniques
Provide them with the technical concept and intensive exposure
Teaches them about the global structure, historical buildings and architecture history
Teaches them to operate computer tools and introduce them to hardware, software, computer programming for structural design, graphics and drawing
Build team spirit
Provides students with the understanding of the socioeconomic, society, culture and lifestyle
